Case Filed for Shooting Victim

Arnold & Itkin’s newest client is a young man who was the victim
of a close-range gunshot. Our client was trying to leave a club in Austin
when he was shot at a short distance, leaving him severely injured. His
injury has life-altering consequences—for both him and his family.
In cases like this, there are two cases at hand: a criminal case and a
civil case. Criminal cases are filed by the state, but civil cases are
filed by the victims.

While both forms of the law provide justice, only one of them will provide
our client with the money he needs for medical care, therapy, and emotional
counseling necessary after being shot. Our firm is proud to help this
young man seek justice that provides restitution for his pain, damage,
and trauma—and we are equally eager to hold negligent companies
and people accountable for the damage caused by their decisions.
